THE EUDAIMONIA METHOD FOR EMPLOYERS

Women's Health at Work...
Led by a Physician.

Physician-led programs that help Washington, DC Metro area employers keep experienced women well, equip their managers, and get more from the benefits they already offer. At your workplace or online. No new platform to manage.

Led by Laurena White, MD, MPH, DiplAc (OB/GYN, reproductive endocrinologist, acupuncturist, and clinical herbalist)

Women's Health Shows Up at Work Whether or Not Anyone Planned for It

Perimenopause and menopause. Fertility and pregnancy loss. PMOS and endometriosis. Postpartum recovery. Chronic stress. Hormone imbalances and menstrual dysfunction. For many women these arrive in the middle of their careers, when they carry the most responsibility.

Most managers do not know what to say. Many employees never learn what their benefits cover. Support that does exist often sits in an app nobody opens.

What Most Programs Miss...

  • A physician in the room. Generic webinars cannot answer the real question an employee has.
  • Managers. Employees disclose to their manager first, and few managers are prepared.
  • A local relationship. A national app does not know your people, your office, or your benefit year.

Why The Eudaimonia Center?

We are a physician-led, integrative women’s health practice in Arlington, VA (Shirlington). Our approach is rooted in the Womanist Ethic of Care: people are whole and health care should treat them that way. We bring that to your team through short, practical programs, facilitated and led by clinicians, in person or online. Employees choose for themselves whether to take any next step with us.

Programs

Start small OR Build a year-long partnership

Every engagement is scoped to your team. Every program is open to all employees. Most employers begin with a single session.

SPARK SESSION

(60 minutes, virtual or on-site, up to 100 attendees)

A physician-led lunch and learn with live Q&A and a one-page take-home. Choose a topic:

  • Perimenopause and menopause at work
  • Hormones, stress, and burnout
  • Know your cycle: when “normal” is not
  • Fertility and family-building literacy
  • Sleep, energy, and blood sugar

Best for: exploring The Eudaimonia Method, awareness-month events, employee networks

MANAGER WORKSHOP

(90 minutes, up to 30 people managers and HR)

How to respond when a team member shares a health challenge. Conversation scripts, accommodation basics, language that protects trust, and the basics of a menopause-informed workplace policy.

Best for: HR leaders who want managers prepared and risk reduced

WELL-BEING CIRCLE

(six 60-minute sessions, circle of 12 to 25 people)

Our signature program, built from The Eudaimonia Method: hormone health, nourishment for vitality, stress/nervous system regulation, sleep/recovery, movement for longevity, and a personal plan. Each participant leaves with a workbook and a Personal Vitality Blueprint. You receive an anonymous results summary. See the six sessions below.

Best for: employers who want a deeper program for a defined group

ANNUAL PARTNERSHIP

(12 months)

A year of support planned around your calendar: quarterly (4) Spark Sessions, one (1) Wellbeing Circle, a (1) Manager Workshop, monthly (12) “Ask the Doctor” virtual office hours, an awareness-month toolkit for your employee networks, and results summaries at 6 and 12 months.

Best for: employers who want a plan, not an event

Not sure where to start?

The Eudaimonia Method

SIX SESSIONS. ONE PLAN FOR EACH PARTICIPANT.

Eudaimonia is an ancient Greek word for flourishing. The Eudaimonia Method is how we put it to work: a physician-led, sequenced curriculum that treats hormones, metabolism, stress, sleep, and movement as one system, not five separate topics. The Wellbeing Circle teaches it over six (6) lunch-hour sessions, in person or online.

PHYSICIAN-LED

Grounded in clinical expertise, not social media wellness trends.

INTEGRATIVE

Multidisciplinary team. One cohesive, sequenced experience.

COMMUNAL

Community healing alongside a small, intentional group of people who get it.

Results & the Team

RESULTS YOU CAN SHOW YOUR LEADERSHIP.

PRIVACY YOUR EMPLOYEES CAN TRUST.

We measure what an employer can use, before and after each program, and report it as a one-page summary.

  • Participant understanding and confidence (self-rated)
  • Manager confidence to respond (Manager Workshop)
  • Awareness of the benefits employees already have
  • Sense of support and intent to stay (self-rated)
  • Attendance and engagement

Results are anonymous and combined across groups of 10 or more. You see themes, never names. We do not promise a return-on-investment figure; we give you the data to build your own next to your replacement-cost numbers.

How it Works, Privacy, and FAQ

HOW IT WORKS
  1. A 20-minute call. We learn who owns women’s health at your company, what you offer today, and what you want to change.
  2. A one-page proposal. One recommended program, one price, and what you will receive. No menus of options to decode.
  3. We deliver. We send invitation copy, run the sessions, and handle the materials. You provide a room (or a video link) and a champion.
  4. You get results. An anonymous summary, plus a recommendation for what to do next, if anything.
OUR PRIVACY PROMISE
  • We never tell your organization who shared what in a session.
  • Results are anonymous and reported only for groups of 10 or more.
  • Programs are education. They do not create a patient relationship.
  • Any employee who wants individual care may choose us or anyone else. We do not pressure, and we do not tell you who chooses us.
QUESTIONS EMPLOYERS ASK

Is this only for women? Programs are open to all employees. The subject is women’s health, and the Manager Workshop helps every people manager.

Will my employer know who attended or what I shared? What is said in a session stays in the session. We report only anonymous group results. If a session is held on site, colleagues will see who walks in, as with any workplace event.

Is this medical care? No. Programs are educational. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace your own clinician.

We already have a national women’s health or fertility vendor. Do we need this? Those services help employees navigate claims and care. We add a local, in-person physician who answers questions live and helps more employees understand and use the benefits you already pay for. We do not replace your vendor.

How is this different from a wellness webinar? A board-certified physician teaches it, employees ask real questions, managers are trained, and you receive measured results.

Is it in person or online? Both. We come to workplaces across the Washington DC Metro Area and teach online for locations outside the Washington, DC Metro Area perimeter.

How many people can join? Spark Sessions up to 100. Manager Workshops up to 30. Wellbeing Circles between 12 to 25.

What does it cost? Every engagement is scoped to your team. After a short call we send one clear price. Most employers begin with a single session.

How soon can we start? Usually within 14-30 days of agreement.

What do you need from us? A room or a video link, (at least) one internal champion, and permission to invite employees. We write the invitation copy for you.

Start With a 20-Minute Conversation

We will ask who owns women’s health at your company, what are your current corporate wellness offerings, and what you want to change. You leave with three (3) observations about your industry and a recommendation… whether we decide to work together or not.

We reply within 1 business day

*FOR INDIVIDUALS

The Eudaimonia Method began as a seven-week, physician-led, integrative women’s circle. Our next circle has not been scheduled yet. Join the waitlist or book an individual visit with Dr. White and the team.

"Having access to a fully integrative health care team with all their knowledge and experience helped me address aspects of my health that I had considered normal. Even the minor changes I made in 2 months were unexpected and phenomenal! Community healing had such a positive impact on my physical health and my spiritual health."
Olivia T.
Elementary School Guidance Counselor

The Eudaimonia Method programs are educational. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and participation does not create a patient-physician relationship. Employers receive only anonymous, aggregate results.
